Sandy Grade School Fun Run

Students at Sandy Grade School ​took to the playground on a beautiful Thursday as part of the Fun ​Run ​spring fundraiser. Operated by Apex, the goal ​of the two-week program is to build leadership and character skills, help raise money for the school and culminate with a fitness-focused event. Lessons throughout the program deal with decision making, self-control and interpersonal skills, with daily competitions and prizes (with the ​ultimate goal of ​getting to "slime" Sandy Grade School Principal Cassiday Hopkins).
